What vegetation types can you mulch?
We process everything from grass and light scrub to dense lantana, woody regrowth, and trees up to 12 inches diameter. Larger trees can be pre-cut.
How thick is the mulch layer left behind?
Typically 2-4 inches depending on vegetation density. This layer suppresses weed germination, retains moisture, and breaks down into nutrients over 6-12 months.
Can you clear vegetation on slopes?

How is this different from slashing?
Mulching completely processes vegetation including woody material and roots, leaving a fine mulch. Slashing only cuts tops and requires regular repeat treatments.
What is the minimum job size?
We have a minimum call-out fee equivalent to approximately half a day. For very small jobs, this may be more than our per-hectare rate would calculate.
Do you remove all weeds or just some species?
We remove all vegetation in the clearing zone. For selective weed removal around natives, see our Environmental & Sensitive Areas service.
Will mulching stop weeds from regrowing?
Mulching dramatically reduces regrowth by destroying seeds and creating a suppressing layer. Persistent species like lantana may need follow-up treatment within 12 months.
What about vines and creepers?
Ground-level vine growth is mulched. For vines growing into retained trees, we can cut at base level and recommend follow-up treatment for root systems.
Can you help with council biosecurity orders?
Yes, we can clear vegetation specified in biosecurity notices and provide documentation of weed removal for council compliance.
