Our Process
From first contact to completed project, here's how we deliver exceptional results
Property Inspection
Goal setting
We walk your paddocks together to assess regrowth, identify shade trees to keep, and understand your goals — grazing, hay, or general improvement.
Clearing Plan
Strategic approach
We map the areas to mow, trees to preserve, and fence lines to follow, so you know exactly what will be cleared before we start.
Flail Mowing
Rapid transformation
Dense regrowth and long grass are mowed and mulched in a single pass, turning years of neglect into open paddock in days.
Finishing
Ready to graze
We create clean paddock edges, clear access tracks if needed, and leave your land ready for pasture improvement.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does paddock reclamation take?
Most paddocks are done in 1-2 days depending on size and density. A typical few-acre paddock with moderate regrowth takes around a day.
Will you preserve certain trees?
Absolutely. We mow around shade trees, feature trees, and anything you want to keep — many clients retain scattered eucalypts.
Can you clear lantana-infested paddocks?
Yes — lantana-choked paddocks are a speciality. We mow it right down and the mulch helps suppress regrowth.
Can you mow new fence-line corridors?
Yes. We can mow clear corridors for new fencing, and many clients combine this with paddock reclamation.
Can I graze livestock straight after?
We recommend a short wait for the mulch to settle and grass to start regrowing before grazing. We will advise based on the condition of your block.
What about old fencing buried in the regrowth?
We work around known fence lines. If old wire is found, we stop and clear it by hand before continuing, to protect the machine.
Will the mulch affect pasture?
The light mulch layer benefits pasture by retaining moisture and adding organic matter as it breaks down. Grass regrows through it.
What about old stumps in the paddock?
The flail mows vegetation, not stumps. We work around existing stumps; stump removal would need separate equipment.
