What is the Lynex SX1000 and why use it?

The Lynex SX1000 is a remote-controlled, tracked slasher built to safely clear steep slopes, overgrown scrub, lantana, and vegetation in hard-to-reach areas. It handles gradients up to 55°, where traditional mowers or workers can’t go — making it perfect for embankments, dams, and fire mitigation zones.

What kind of terrain can you work on?

We specialise in difficult terrain — steep slopes, rocky ground, overgrown paddocks, drainage lines, firebreaks, roadside edges, and anywhere that’s unsafe or impossible for people or tractors.

What vegetation can you cut through?

The Lynex SX1000 makes light work of:

- Long grass and thick weeds

- Lantana and scrub

- Small trees and saplings (up to 50mm thick)

- Blackberry and invasive growth

Is it safe to operate near homes or roads?

Yes. The machine is remote controlled and operated from a safe distance. It has a low profile, excellent stability, and causes minimal ground disturbance. Perfect for roadside, residential block prep, or urban slope control.

What areas do you service?

We’re based in South East Queensland and service Brisbane, Ipswich, Scenic Rim, Gold Coast, Northern Rivers, Sunshine Coast, and beyond. For larger or ongoing jobs, we can travel further.

How is pricing structured?

We quote based on the job at hand. Pricing depends on location, terrain, and the type of vegetation. Get in touch for a tailored quote or to book a site visit.

Do I need to be on-site during the job?

Not necessarily. As long as we have clear access to the site and an agreed scope of work, we can get the job done without you needing to be there.

Can you remove the cleared material?

Yes if required. Our standard service is slash-and-leave, but we can organise removal or mulching if needed — just let us know during quoting.

We hired ADS Forestry to slash four of our steepest paddocks, and honestly, we were blown away. The slopes had gotten too dangerous for our zero turn, and the overgrowth was becoming a real fire risk. Angus showed up with that tracked machine and had the job done in no time.

It was impressive to watch. We’ll be getting him back every season.
